I am inspired by the movement of leaves in the wind, the pattern snow makes as it falls, the sound of feet on gravel. I love the way light filters through a prism and the way water freezes at different temperatures. I feel connected standing on a cliff top screaming into a storm or standing silently in the middle of a dark forest smelling the damp earth. I’m fascinated with the way blue can invoke dreams of deep blue sea and cold icy caves, the way red can mean anger or heat. The spiritual awakening through purple tones, or the emotional breakdown through black depression.
